Welcome! I’m Dr. Saima Anjum, a molecular biologist, educator, and interdisciplinary artist who believes that science and art are powerful partners in inspiring curiosity and creativity. After earning my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston and teaching biology for many years, I discovered my passion for transforming scientific ideas into meaningful works of art.
Through Discovery Palette, I create science-inspired artwork and lead engaging art classes and creative workshops for children, adults, schools, libraries, museums, and community organizations. My goal is to make art and science accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring while encouraging people of all ages to explore, create, and see the beauty of the natural world through a creative lens.
